We are excited to share with you the amazing work produced by our mentees during the three-session lab that took place from March 7th to March 12th, 2023 in the Serengeti National Park. The Grumeti Fund, in partnership with AFRISOS, brought together 10 participants from East Africa who are passionate about conservation storytelling.
Our mentees were guided by industry-leading mentors in conservation media and storytelling, such as Jigar Ganatra, Frank Papushka, LauraClara Cosmas, and Bhoke Mtatiro-Mgeni. The participants gained practical experience through game drives in the afternoons, after morning theoretical lessons, and created short films by the end of the lab. We are excited to showcase the amazing work produced by our talented conservation storytellers!
Please take some time to watch the videos and appreciate the hard work and dedication put into them. We are excited to see where these talented conservation storytellers go in their careers and hope that this experience has helped them take their craft to the next level.
